![]() Dark Horse comics has a series that follows right after the finale and shows Korra and Asami in the Spirit World called Turf Wars. Good news! Just because the series is over, doesn't mean that it's the end for our favorite characters. Is there any way to find out what happened after The Legend of Korra finale? They decide to head off to the Spirit World as girlfriends and start their new adventure together. Asami proposes that the two of them take a vacation together to finally relax. Korra apologizes for leaving all those years ago, prompting them to realize their feelings for one another. Korra and Asami step away from the party and decide to talk to each other after everything that had happened. King Wu announces that he is stepping down as the Earth Kingdom King and allowing them to elect their own officials instead. In a small time jump, it's Zhu Li and Varrik's wedding and everyone enjoys the party including some very special guests. However, Kuvira announces that she's giving up and that she doesn't stand a chance against Korra anymore. When they arrive, the rest of the team is there along with Kuvira's army. Korra recognizes wha drove Kuvira to become who she is and the two decide to go back to the real world. Korra mentions that they similar people, just with different end goals. However, her best friend Lemaya, teacher Master Katara, and her amazing parents made everything worthwhile, and now here she stands on the edge of a great adventure. Well, as happy as one can be with constant Avatar training. ![]() Inside the Spirit World, Kuvira questions Korra over her decision to still protect her after everything that she's done. Korra, the new Avatar of the world, has grown up happily in the Southern Water Tribe. ![]() The rest of the city takes cover from the new blast of power and a brand new portal to the Spirit World emerges. Korra steps in before it hurts Kuvira, causing her to go into the Avatar state. However, the energy becomes too much for her to handle and she loses control of it. Korra and Kuvira end up in the spirit vines section of the city, where Kuvira discovers a giant cannon and activates it to take down Korra. In an attempt to save everyone inside, Mako uses his lightning manipulation to help source it away and keep it from exploding, but also hurting himself with the high voltage in the process. Meanwhile, Korra and Kuvira fight against each other which causes the power within the mech to overload. After reaching its power source, Mako and Bolin attempt to shut it down once and for all, while Su and Lin try to rip it apart through metalbending. ![]() After Hiroshi Sato sacrifices himself to create a hole to enter in, the rest of Team Avatar try to find the best way to take down the giant metal machine from the inside. Kuvira, who is hoping to reclaim the entire former Earth Kingdom and rule it, has also created a giant mech to help her in battle.
